About & accreditation

A training centre built inside a fabrication business

Tarradco Academy is the training branch of Tarradco for Trade & Marine Services. It exists because our own projects needed welders qualified to production standards — and that is still the benchmark every trainee is measured against.

Instructor qualification

Working practitioners

Instruction is delivered by welders and supervisors active in Tarradco's fabrication operation, not career classroom staff.

Procedure-led teaching

Trainees are taught to qualified welding procedures, with WPS interpretation, joint preparation and visual acceptance built into every session.

Co-instruction where it counts

Pipe Fitter, Grinder and NDT trade programmes are co-instructed with Inspecta Middle East, adding inspection-side expertise.

Certifying body

Tarradco Academy cooperates with TÜV Rheinland and BUREAU VERITAS as third-party certifying bodies for welder qualifications and technical training programmes.

Universities and contractors train inside our centre

Tarradco Academy hosts student cohorts, site visits and industry roundtables — including the "Building A Bridges" round table with Alamein International University and its University Center for Career Development. Groups move between the theory halls, the welding booths and the live fabrication workshop in the same visit.
