Programme content
- Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT): technique, acceptance criteria, reporting.
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) on welds, castings and forgings.
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT): calibration, thickness, flaw detection and sizing.
- Radiographic Testing (RT): exposure technique, film interpretation and radiation safety.
- Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT): scan plans, encoded scanning and evaluation.
- Practical sessions on real weldments, plus written, practical and specific examinations.
Standards & certification
- Qualification and certification practice per ASNT SNT-TC-1A.
- Acceptance criteria referenced to ASME and AWS code requirements.
- Certificates issued jointly with Inspecta Middle East and an internationally recognized certifying body.
- Cooperation with TÜV Rheinland and BUREAU VERITAS for third-party certification routes.
Entry requirements
- Technical or engineering background, or documented industrial inspection experience.
- Satisfactory near-vision and colour-contrast acuity as required by the scheme.
- Working technical English for codes, procedures and report writing.
